Looking back on this past month I’d have to say it honestly at first glance is just a blur in my mind. We are busy people. We don’t stop very often. But amongst the crazy you know what sticks out the most in my mind?

The little things! Oh they are the greatest joys in our lives right? One way I have found to enjoy the little things in life is to just take a break. Take 30 minutes to count your blessings, to take a nap, or even to treat yourself. And maybe even treat yourself to a little hot oil hair treatment while you are at it ;)
The people at Olivari Olive Oil have created a “One Year of Little” campaign that recognizes and celebrates the “little things” in life that bring us joy. To Olivari the little things are everything!

What you’ll do:
  • Mix 1/4 to 1/2 cup of Olivari Olive Oil and your lemon essential oil together. I used 1/2 cup for my long hair but I would use 1/4 or possibly less depending on hair length.
  • Heat the olive oil mixture for 30 seconds in the microwave.
  • Apply the oil onto your hair and massage into your hair and scalp using a circular motion.
  • Pin your hair into place and cover your hair with either the shower cap or plastic bag.
  • Leave the oil treatment on for 30 minutes.
  • Wash your hair clean with shampoo. I washed mine twice to make sure the olive oil rinsed out completely.
